Built complete test coverage from scratch for a newly-acquired web application that had none, surfacing defects the previous team never knew existed.
The application had just been acquired and had no test coverage at all. The previous team had no automated way to verify that core workflows still worked after a change, and no one had systematically looked for defects. That included security issues and a data-segregation problem that let one customer's data leak into another's view.
Designed and implemented a complete test automation framework from scratch using Playwright for an acquired application with no existing tests.
Automated the most critical user workflows within the first month, enabling reliable regression testing for the first time.
Developed API test suites using Postman to cover core backend functionality.
Built CI pipelines in GitHub Actions to run automated tests on every change.
Set up a reporting and analytics system to visualize results, flag flaky tests, and review video recordings of failures.
